FAQ: How do I get copies of my research scans so I can submit them to my study sponsor?

The HIRO can deliver your image data in almost any format you need. We currently have the capability to provide image data via CD and DVD, and we use University-approved cloud services from which you can download your image data directly. We are also happy to copy your image data onto a portable hard drive or other removable device that you provide if desired.

By default we provide electronic image data in the industry-standard DICOM format. If you require a different image format please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate you. We usually provide copies of radiology reports as either text files or Microsoft Word documents. You can view our full image formatting and de-identification procedures by clicking here.
