Yes. Online or electronic image submission is becoming increasingly popular (and in some cases, required) with many study sponsors and clinical research organizations. It cuts down on material costs and increases the speed with which study imaging can be submitted and reviewed. The HIRO supports and encourages the use of electronic data submission for clinical trials and research studies, and we will work with your group and the study sponsor to set up the appropriate equipment and procedures. Please note that study sponsors often require you to indicate your ability to submit image data electronically early in the study preparation process, so please try to consult with the HIRO about this aspect as early as possible.
