NBC 5 Chicago reporter Nesita Kwan dropped by the University of Chicago recently to report on an innovative clinical trial being run by Dr. Aytekin Oto in the Radiology Department. The study is investigating the use of new HIFU technology to destroy uterine fibroids under MRI guidance. The report originally aired on NBC 5 Chicago's News at 5PM (5/13/2013) during the Health segment. The HIRO is providing logistical support for this study, and members of the HIRO's staff can be seen briefly on camera during the segment.
